Learn to improvise a full musical in just five weeks. Join the next Musical Improv Class!
Was it worth the wait? Five months later, our next musical improv class is looking for students like you. Love musicals, hate karaoke, never sung a note, or sing in every show you can? This is your chance to see yourself in a totally new way and try something completely wild and fun.
- You’ll build songs and scenes from scratch with classmates who are just as new (and nervous!) as you.
- No singing experience? No problem. Your character already knows.
- You’ll also level up theater skills like projecting, holding space, playing to your audience, and getting braver every step of the way.
- The grand finale? A showcase for your friends and family where you perform a fully improvised musical with villains, heroes, group numbers, and surprises!
Schedule: 5 Sundays, 3:00–6:00pm, October 5th through November 2nd
Showcase: Sunday, November 9th at 6:00pm

Song Circle! A Free Music and Improv Event!

Join a supportive crew for a free community song circle, the very first time we are bringing this to Baltimore. Hosted by Highwire Improv. We’ll sing easy, learnable songs together in a joyful space where everyone’s voice matters. No sheet music, no pressure, just the fun of singing side by side.

Baltimore Musical Improv Jam Session!
Saturday, September 27 (a week from Saturday) at 12:00pm, St Mark’s Lutheran Church
This free jam is all about musical improv games hosted by Highwire Improv. You’ll get to try out short-form musical formats, experiment with group numbers, and pick up techniques in a low-pressure, supportive environment.
Perfect for beginners or seasoned improvisers looking to stretch into music, it’s a chance to play, learn, and discover new ways to connect through song.
Matchmaking Form: Help Shape New Shows and Teams
We have so much talent in Baltimore, and we could have even more shows, classes, and workshops if we connect the right people. That’s what this form is for!
Fill it out in just 2–4 minutes and tell us what you’re interested in. You don’t need experience to check a box, if it’s your first time, we’ll make sure you have support or a chance to shadow someone. Your responses will only be shared with organizers who are helping build teams and opportunities.
