Last weekend’s Tune Up pictures:

Tune Up Musical improv practice crew with Highwire Improv! We tried it all this time, new musical versions of spoken improv games (Tony Moment!), a cappella singing, improvised jingles, a song about unionizing puppets, and more, all chosen by the group.
Thanks to Jeff, Harper, Ez, Joy, Susan, and Brian for bringing so much creativity and singing fun made up stuff on the spot.
If you like improv, and you like music, you’re invited to join this free and open group every second Tuesday of the month at noon with Highwire!
Sign up for next month, Sat. Nov. 8 at NOON

Last Friday’s show at Old Major was so pure.
One Act! Popup Musical brought you cheesemongers versus a vegan couple, with rats, riches, and surprise vegan cheese. You’ll never guess who was the real hero. Huge thanks to Plot Twist for running the show, sometimes literally

Ever sat through a board game night where someone takes a full 5 minutes to read the rules as everyone’s eyes start to glaze over? That happens when teaching improv games too!!
At this improv game leading workshop with Highwire Improv, this crew practiced leading by example: pick one clear goal, show instead of tell, and get hands-on without the wall of words.
Each person taught the group an improv game of their choice. They worked hard, helped each other, and showed off their skills! By the end, they were jumping right in to the game using tools like demonstration and guided practice.
Led by Casey with four amazing facilitators Isa, David, Julia, and Brian. Interested in joining next time?
